·I have for sale a Longines 6998 with a caliber 290 movement in rose gold. I purchased this recently but I am parting with it.
Case: The 34mm case is 18kt rose gold. It is marked with the Longines stamp on the inside and also stamped on the back of the lugs. The case looks clean. I cannot tell if it has been polished. I suspect a light polish.
Crystal: This crystal appears to have been replaced in a recent service - it looks clean.
Movement: Runs and it appears to gain about 20 seconds a day. The previous owner indicated that it has been recently serviced (this year). The movement appears to be clean.
Dial and Hands: The dial is radiant. It appears that a little of the varnish may have come off around the edge between the 1 and 5 o'clock - it is missing the tiny mark indicating 11 minutes past the hour. The . The hands appear original to the watch. I believe that originally the second hand may have been slightly longer.
Crown: The crown is not original and is not marked.
Strap: The strap and buckle are not original.
Price: 950 USD (or best reasonable offer) including shipping to the Continental US with FedEx (or USPS registered). The watch is in Los Angeles.
