I have for sale a Longines 9L (25.17) . I believe that the case and dial are NOS. I have worn a few times since I purchased it. Please note that this is not a NOS watch. Specifically, it is constructed of different parts - the dial is French market and the movement from the US market. Please keep this is mind. Thank you @gatorcpa.

Case: The case is stainless steel. I believe that it is NOS. It appears to have almost no scratches or markings. 20mm x 37mm

Crystal: This crystal is in excellent condition. I previously posted that the crystal in NOS - it may not be. Please note that the crystal does appear to refract the dial at angles. The new owner will have the option to replace it.

    Movement: Runs and keeps time.

Dial and Hands: The dial I believe is NOS. It has the italicized FAB. SUISSE. The hands are in excellent condition NOS blued steel.

    Crown: Original - I think?

There are no associated boxes and papers.

These are not common wristwatches; I am unsure how to price it.

Price: 650 USD (or best reasonable offer) including shipping to the Continental US with USPS. The watch is in Los Angeles.

Sorry everyone - I made an error in the measurement - it is 20x37mm, not 20x32mm.

Also, I have added pictures of the caseback and the movement.

    Dear All,

I have a response from the Longines Branding and Heritage department. It follows:

Thank you for your message and the information provided.

Further to your request, we are pleased to provide the information contained in Longines' handwritten registers.

Originally, the serial number 6'871'432 identifies a Longines mechanical manually wound movement, caliber 25.17 (also called 9L). It was invoiced on 8 June 1945 to the company Longines–Wittnauer Company, INC., which was at that time our agent for the USA.

The other parts of the watch were produced locally under license from Longines. Unfortunately, since the relevant archives are not in our possession, we are unable to provide any further information on your model.

We trust that we have responded satisfactorily to your request and remain at your entire disposal for any additional information.

    Best regards,
