·That's not correct to my knowledge. I know that Rolex has practically eliminated parts accounts for independent watchmakers, but I’m not aware that Omega has done the same. Am I mistaken? Archer?

Omega uses a selective spare parts distribution model. It eliminates the middle man, and parts are ordered directly from Omega/Swatch group by watchmakers who have gone through the approval process.
Any watchmaker who meets the requirements for education, experience, has a modern shop with the proper equipment, and is willing to attend training at Swatch can get an account, provided the level of work they do meets the standards that Omega requires.

·Nah.. they all hide a qualified watchmaker under the counter, but it’s only for their regular customers.
