Hi, new to the forum and the world of Omega (finally..)

I just bought this lovely watch, ref 3210.51.00.

When searching the net, there seem to be little love for it, most people talking about the Pro modell, how come? Is it because it's history and fame? It's the perfect size for us with smaller wrists, and the dial is lovely, it came with bracelet bit I quickly added a leather strap with red stiching from Hirsch. Here are two shots of mine! 😀

The SpeedyPro gets all of the love because it is a classic, versatile watch that also has the distinction of being the first watch worn on the Moon.

As for the Speedmaster automatics, they are solid and reliable watches. They receive don't much love because most people would rather buy a SpeedyPro.

Here is a gratuitous picture of mine.

Nice watch! Love the placement of the day date complication, very discrete.

I've had some luxury watches before, IWC, Breitling and some Certina, Tissot etc. But this is the first watch that I really like in all aspects.. Feels like it's built like a tank, and the 7750 really is a workhorse 😀

This one is awesome. Almost even better with the small dials placed like that
Same generation as the one you posted. Same base 7750 movement. In fact my colorway is also seen in the other layout.

But doesn't 7750 require dials to be placed vertically? Your dial wouldnt ever fit my modell, or does it?

I have a Speedmaster Reduced and it’s a great daily wear “beater” watch.

No reduced here, but I have a Triple Date and love it!

Here's my Mk40. The dial is very funky and I love it.

Looks great! Seems to be a lot of different dials for this one, anyone know where I can find info about which ones available?

The Speedy date is an excellent value actually. Its smaller size makes it more attractive and wearable than the larger Pro, and unlike the reduced the Speedy date has a service-friendly Valjoux 7750. One of my top Omega choice for sure.
