Limited edition Bond watches; love them or hate them.

A little bit of Bond goes with me whenever I wear a Bond watch. Women at the grocery store follow me around to get another peek at me because they sense my phermones and alpha male masculinity. I call my wife "Moneypenney" and she takes her clothes off and dashes to the bedroom. My watch is so attractive those sitting close to me often ask if my watch is a Rolex? I give them a friendly laugh and tell them " Good God no, it's an Oh-MEE-ga". The is very common amongst Oh-MEE-ga Bond watch owners thus the reason for so many Bond watch limited editions. I thought you Speedmaster guys knew about this?

I love mine! Removed the 007 clasp and installed a regular clasp.

Not a fan of them. It would be cool to see 007 wearing an original military Seamaster 300 with the sword hands. It would be very appropriate for Commander Bond.

I couldn’t agree more. Spectre 300 is a great watch in its own right. Whereas the branding on the older bond watches is excessive. Hopefully Omega keeps to the ‘KISS’ principle on the next bond watch.

Same. The less branding on it, the better. It’s the only Bond watch that trades above MSRP, Omega has to have learned its lesson.

Generally too many 007s even for me ;-)

When I was initially buying my SMP they did command a premium, not sure where the market is now. They also seemed to be faked alot

Indeed, faked quite a lot! I'll admit that have a (pretty good) fake Casino Royale LE Seamaster. In my defense, it came in a lot with some other things I wanted. I'm not a huge fan of the design, though - the movie merchandise angle kind of kills it for me. But I hate advertising on my clothes, jewelry, or what have you...

I like the blue bond with barrel rifling on the dial, but I'd still prefer to wear a regular 2531.
