I think it would be tight with 6 watches. 3 watches across would be fine but two rows would be tight I think.

Yes, 6 would still be tight, especially 6 Speedmasters. But that’s not a problem I think I need to worry about. Most of my stuff is smaller vintage so I may be able to fit 6. Even 3 or 4 would be cool. The box is just going to sit in a corner otherwise anyway. I have no intention to ever sell this watch so don’t care about maintaining the original box. Even then the modded one probably wouldn’t hurt overall value.
