My 2648 might be one of the earliest versions of the ‘black waffle dial’ found in the Constellation line.

Wrong hands, too, unfortunately.
I thought the original hands were supposed to be this length and they shortened them in 1958? This is a 1953 model.

I know the hands are wrong but what is on the dial that hints in a repaint?
MOY test should also apply for this reference as far as I know...
