Well spotted, coming from " Up North " and liking great music, I was a huge New Order/JD/Factory/Madchester fan back in the late 80's and early 90's
Coupled together with the first house music and rave years馃榾 these were by far the best times!

I was at a Factory gig at the G-Mex in 麓88 I think, New Order, Happy Mondays and Hacinda DJ麓s doing the warming up playing Voodoo Ray etc It was really at the point when the Manchester music and the house music scene were just exploding, New Order had just released Technique and the Happy Mondays Wrote For Luck.
After the concert my mate and I somehow ended up back at the Cyprus Tavern getting wasted until the early hours with about 20 Man City Young Governors....Happy days 馃榾
