Close up of the top left

2891, cal 267

2506 jumbo, this was my noob tax.

2536 cal 265. Bought as a parts watch but she runs.

2640 cal 266

9ct cal 266 Dennison cased. The only solid gold watch i have. Bad pic, watch is much nicer in person.

2937 cal 267

14726 cal 285
This got lost in the post, was sent to the wrong country and then disappeared off the grid despite being sent by tracked mail.
The call center told me no matter how many times i called, the watch still wouldn't be found. When i asked to escalate the issue, he said he was already the manager & that nobody else would talk to me OR could do anything.

Gents & ladies, when this happens, i email the CEO of the company, lamenting the bad service, rude staff, and horror that a service i paid for could go so wrong. My grandfather's watch that he hid in an orifice during the war had disappeared into a larger black hole, and my fur kids would not have anything to remember him by... i have done this 3 times now & it has a 100% success rate.

The day after i sent the email, the CEO's PA called me to say that they were extremely apologetic, the call center manager had been reprimanded & that an international team had been assembled to trace the watch. After being "lost" for 6 mths, 2 days later, the watch was found & rushed to me.

1961 cal 268, have never had the back off, so not sure of reference..

125.003 cal 269.
Seller's pic hid the crack, wrong sub second hand. The glare hides a lot of marks

here's what arrived.

Damn that`s some collection!

I did that trick of e-mailing the CO of a company I had gotten bad service from, worked like a charm. Took some digging to find his address but well worth the trouble.

Heavy dial patina, wrong service crown, scratched crystal. I was contemplating using it for parts but with an old no-name flatlink bracelet it came alive! And when missus says it looks the part, it is deemed a keeper.

I think that this and
I think I've gone nuts: obsessions with jumbo manual-wind time-only (JMWTO) vintage watches
are my very favourite threads. Gorgeous watches!👍
