I have to admit it, you guys have some serious CDO problems (that's OCD but in alphabetical order, the way it should be).

Anyone have any of these? I am always looking for them but rarely see.
Bakelite from the 30's, I think, comes in several colors.

I am sorry for the silly question but can you buy just the box? Like can I buy a box for my new-to-me Seamaster? right now all the watches live in a case on pillows...well most live there.... is the box better?

It's the same Bulgarian seller as my post above. Looks like he ended the original listing and split them into two.

No, I don´t think so - the boxes on offer are already repaired, restored, after they have been broken at the hinges... it is described and shown in the item description.

Well, this is my understanding of his listings.
He listed a complete box for a bin of $115 that was in pretty good shape with the original insert, showed photos and said this is the actual box you are considering and indicated another available.
Someone😗 negotiated a fair price and the sale was made.
After that listing ended, he then listed the very similar box #2 that had a repaired hinge area and unoriginal insert for a bin of $80, I believe.
He also has a bottom half with unoriginal insert that he is asking $40 for.

I have a friend that coached hockey (including the NHL here) around the world and he says the buyer 😗 has about a 40% chance of it making it here as agreed.
Seller doesn't seem too bad but the buyer should wear a double rubber (American term that may not translate, loosely means double protection).
Buyer doesn't like to jinx transactions until complete, but we should here more of this story in a few weeks.
