Picked up another at a garage sale last weekend, 5 bucks lol.. Anyone have an idea what time frame this was from and what watch?

By looking at the logo I would bet this was for a Constellation.

It is a French case

I have bought 2 of them joined with French 30 mm chronometres inside - but this could also be a coincidence and they were paired also with French Seamasters or Constellations?

I think it鈥檚 probably from the very early 1950s possibly of Canadian market origin here鈥檚 my 1950 automatic full set originally purchased in
Canada outer boxes look the same

You are right! I have a set with box and outer box like this - derived from Canada...

How about a 'big' box. When I blindly got this, I thought it was a small briefcase for watches. When it arrives I saw that I'd purchased a shipping "trunk" . Turns out ( from photos/instructions inside ) it was used to ship window displays to jewelry stores. Now using it to store a whole bunch of omega stuff. Can almost use it as a coffee table.

In that last pic: is the 'Omega' inlaid wood or paint? (either way an amazing way to store and admire your collection!)

thanks for the interest. Had to look real close to see that it must be gold paint below the varnish as it is perfectly smooth.
