My small collection - one of them has made an appearance in this post already and one was a bits & pieces project.

Hi All,

I use this thread as here are a lot of Lemania specialists.

Can you please clarify me it is possible to have this military inscription, which I presume dates the watch to 1956, in a caseback that inside is marked 36-69?

I am asking this, because, so far I presumed that in Lemania watch cases the last two digits would date the watch.

So this case would have been produced in 69, so could not have a military engraving dating it to 56.

Thanks for any imput.

Cheers,

João

I just came across this weird Lemania—a ref 11004 that I haven’t see before. Almost looks like a mix between an 11004 and a Sinn 140. Are you guys familiar with ref 11004 with cal 5100 GMT movement AND an Italian day wheel? The world time internal bezel looks pretty sweet, but I’m not sure if this one’s authentic...

It took me some time to get one in my collection, but finally landed a Lemania Majetek as part of an exchange deal!😀

Case reference number 261. Caliber 3050 (early sweep seconds version of the 3xxx family of movements).
Majetek models was made in the late 1930s and early 1940s based on specifications from the Czech military. Lemania, Longines and Eterna all made their variants. A very modern design for it's time!

The marking on the back: "Majetek Vojenske spravy" translates into "Property of the Military Administration".
Each watch have a separate military serial number.
With a 38mm cushion case (wo crown) it wears very well even on a "Nordic wrist".

Thanks to @Mitka for excellent servicing and support!

@Northernman
Congrats on a great piece!!

Thanks Pat!

Been chasing several in the past, but they have all slipped through my net.....
The lack of a Majetek was a big hole in my Lemania collection 🙄..... Now sorted! 😁

Are there names or reference numbers for any of these?

For the stop-watch I do not have the details, but the others are as follows:
Top left: 11003
Top right: 9802
Bottom left: 11010

Please note that for the 11xxx references you may find variants with either the caliber 5100 or 5012. Best distinguished by the 24h indication sub dial in the 12o'clock position not present for a cal 5012.

Lemania used reference numbers for the case. Dial and movements may vary!

Cheers,
Anders
