A lovely pair joined my collection at the end of last year.
Nice scores, have been on the hunt for a minty 918 with the geometric triple indices

This is one such example. Sold here without a minute and 6 o'clock sub dial hand, later posted on eBay with hands with no reserve which a few of us enthusiasts found odd

Wow - after looking at the pictures I believe it is the same exact watch. The OF posting has hidden most of the movement serial, but the first two digits are the same and all the case and movement markings seem to line up.

The case back has service markings indicating it was serviced in September 2024 (not long after it was listed here); during that service it likely received the missing hands and at least one screw in the movement. That said, when it came to me 5 months later via the eBay auction it still had some problems. Some issues were easy enough to fix, i.e. the movement wasn't properly secured in the case, but other issues with winding and inconsistent time keeping prompted me to send it in for service again. Happy to report that the 2nd service seems to have done the trick! She still shows her age a little (or maybe I just tend to baby her), but she is now fully functional and has survived days on the wrist.

One interesting thing to note is that the hour subdial hand 'drifts' to the 4 hour position even when the chronograph isn't running. I believe I read that this can sometimes be the result of part wear that causes the subdial to turn as it is driven directly by the barrel - maybe someone here can explain it better or correct me. At any rate, it's interesting to know that subdial hand was missing not too long ago, so perhaps extra attention is warranted when the next service comes.

Thanks again for noticing and connecting me to the older post - unravelling the history is a big part of the fun.

Yeah from the scratches near the center of the dial and the damage to the 'L' of Lemania, I would definitely say they are the same watch. Probably not a museum piece condition wise but certainly a beautiful design. Hard to beat some of the Lemania three register chronos in my opinion. Enjoy
