IMO that watch is redialed.

Caliber 13CH? Or 15?

 

I cant remember and I don't have a movement picture handy. I will follow it up when I get home in a few days.

Should indicate a case diameter of about 37mm?!

 

I have never worn it.... I think it is 37.5 from memory.

 

The cal 13CH is a much smaller movement, and usually cased in smaller cases as were the fashion back in those days.

On the wrist today.
A very rarely seen Waltham Lemania. Cal 3064(!) 23 jewels, adjusted version of the 3060.
Perhaps the most elaborate of all cal 3000 variants that I’ve seen.

Just got my Lemania EPSA super compressor back from the repairers. Really pleased with the result.
This is my first Lemania(and hopefully not the last). Although it came with a Lemania crown it’s not the cross hatch variant.

 

I have not seen the Lemania 24h before. Anyone that knows the purpose with it?

As far as I know, only cal 3060 was available with a 24h hour variant (of the non chronograph calibers).
Apart from the hour hand taking 24h for a full rotation, compared to 12h on a regular watch, there is really not much more to it.
Typical use could be military, scientific or just someone wanting something a bit out of the ordinary.
This Wakmann branded Lemania cal 3060 sits in my collection. Same movement.

ATG vintage watches also has some Lemaniacs onboard.
I live in Norway, so a neighbour in the west!
Did you pick up the 24h watch on Kaplan’s? I think I saw an identical watch up for sale there some time ago.
