This thread is an inspiration for the rest of us. The Lemania is the most intriguing brand I never had. Perhaps I'll post one here someday.
That's a cracker, I haven't seen this one before. Based just on the dial it's likely to be a be a lemania 5012 or 5100 movement. The reference for you watch will be on the inside of the caseback. Likely going to be late 70 or 80s watch. What can you tell us about this "intermar" other than your rightfully pleased as punch. Cheers Pat
Cool watch! Nice color combination. Movement is a cal 5100 (5012 has no 24h indicator). It has the Same case as the Heuer "Audi Sport". (Picture from Calibre11) Would love to see some more pics. Inside and out. Cheers!
@Chron Have a look at this page: https://www.heuerchrono.com/jmg-hor...llection-of-yachting-watches-vintage-and-new/ It seems that Intermar (whoever they are/was) also had cal 1345 regatta timers made with their logo. Both your watch, and the one pictured, should date from the 1980s.
Hy Guys, What can you please tell me about this model. I know is a Lemania with Ch27-C12 movement, adjusted to seven positions, which probably set to get the word CHRONOMETER on the dial. Dial is burned by the Sun (I presume) but I still love the watch. Found some few on Internet, but not to many.
I’ve been keeping this big boy under wraps for years so nobody gets too excited! The top button is for an internal dial illumination driven by two batteries accessed from the case back. Watch is an auto.
WTF! Never seen one before. A picture of the movement and caseback inside and out would be highly appreciated! A child of the 70s or early 80s would be my guess. Signed buckle? Cheers!
It’s a big watch 40mm x 40mm bracelet is unsigned, just “stainless steel, Switzerland” here is a photo of back, with “patent pending”
Nice! I am quite certain 7152 would be the reference number. Whenever you have the chance please share a picture of the movement. I am guessing an ETA. It could also be a version of their in-house cal 4650/4651, but I don not know of any versions of this with a date function. Did I forget to DIBS it? DIBS!!
Hmmm it’s not easy to get into. The movement and the case back come out as one unit and as can be seen the crown and light button go through the case, so it’s difficult to see how the stem will come out. It looks possible to remove the light section, but I’m scared I may do some damage. It’s very pretty though!! And running well!
