Its amazing how old rough looking watches clean-up. This is a stamped Lemania 1872 SAAF bought recently from someone who had it sitting in their cupboard for the past 12 years. Apparently his dad found it on a beach! New original crystal, ultrasonic case clean and a quick dusting and service and this one is good to go for another 50 years! Does anyone on this forum know if the "arrow dial" version of this watch was ever used anywhere else. I believe it is unique to this watch issued to the SAAF in the mid 70's. And, why would SAAF have an Arrow symbol if this was a sign of British Government Property?
