You’re kinda drip feeding information here. At €700 head only it’s overpriced, but if that includes an amoeba bracelet, vintage box and documented service it’s getting better.

However, you can’t wear a box, do you like/will you wear the bracelet and is the service documented? If yes, then the price is still high but it’s not terrible.

I am sorry but then you haven’t really looked. Perhaps you have looked like I do when my wife asks me to find something. I look for a couple of minutes in visible areas and then sort of drift off to something else. Then she searches for 30 seconds and find it.

For years…. The last couple of years there have been probably a hundred or more good, “starter” watches in the sales section of this forum.
This.

There are links to Geneves for sale posted in the vintage recommendation thread like daily.

OP, I'm honestly not trying to give you a hard time but I think that’s the source of the little bit of push back you’ve gotten. Folks around here aren’t “snobs” so much as they expect people to do a little of their own homework. Saying you can't find a Geneve in years of searching is absurd. Just take it easy it'll be alright.

Please point me in the direction of better examples for 500-700 and I would buy this instant. Jeez, I just want a decent watch I can wear every day without getting scammed or ripped off. Why is this so hard?
It is not a crime to open 2 threads on a watch forum mate, how am I supposed to know the rules? I don't spend all my time on watch forums even though I am interested.
If you want someone here to be your personal shopper, you might try hiding your disdain a bit. I’m sure a lot of people would be happy to put up with you for long enough to sell you a €250 watch for €700, but I don’t think too many of them spend all their time on this particular forum. Mate.
