Good day all,

thought I’d see the experts before pulling the trigger.

is this legit? Has it had a redial, does the caseback match etc.

What have your own research revealed so far?
That the 471 movement is period correct.
The case seems to be the same as all the others I have seen. The crown shape too.

the hands come in different shapes. Some sword like some fatter at the centre and taper to the tip. So I’m not sure about that.

the alarm bells for me are the following.
There seems to me to be uneven letter spacing on the Omega on the dial “maybe I’m seeing things”.

the ref number on the caseback doesn’t seem to be stamped straight. The last numbers are higher.
Wanted to confirm my suspicions.

The hands are completely incorrect. Finding correct ones could be a challenge.

Photo not clear enough to say much about the dial.

PASS.

To expand on the above comment you can easily tell the hands are wrong because they are way too short. They should reach precisely to the minute track.

I agree too, the photo is too blurry to determine originality of the dial. Sometimes this is intentional.

Movement looks pretty dirty so a service is a must.

I’ll pass on it. I thought the hands were incorrect but I wanted to be sure. Did anyone pick up on the ref number on the caseback being off?

Thanks all.
