I don’t think so, 265/266 should be sub seconds (265 with 15 jewels, 266 with 17). 283 is a center second, I‘m not sure about the ref. 2640, though.

Yeah and I haven't seen a ref 2639 sporting anything other than a cal. 265 or 266.

I'm interested to see what the ref and calibre is. If he shoots me a reasonable offer because I'm already buying his Connie I'll grab it and come backbto update

He doesn't have anymore photos for the moment. I haven't been able to track down a reference number, it looks closer to a 1950s model, almost like a 1950s seamaster. What is throwing me off is that the applied indexes sit under the "drawn on?" hour marks. The ones I've seen whilst looking for a reference number seem to have the applied indexes on the hour marks. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense. Any info would be welcome ! Thanks again for all of your help
Here’s my 2640 with a 283. The case seems identical.

Hello once again, I've gotten more pictures and a video from the seller. Does the Omega logo look odd to you guys ? It looks "thinner" than usual ? Or does Omega have different types of applied logos in that time frame ?

Thanks again.

I think the dial is original. I also note the beautiful crown, a type that is no longer available.
