Hi all,

The seller has listed this as a 1956 Constellation Turler, they don't know reference or movement but will open to confirm.

Spidey senses tingling as I thought Turler was in the 60s era Connies, not 50s. And moreover, I've only ever seen the Turler text above the Constellation text and not below the CHRONOMETER text.

I think the dial looks fine and not a redial, happy to be told otherwise though please if so. Back is polished but have seen worse.

Many thanks in advance.

Top text all looks REALLY bad to me, off center and not the right font. Also, the minute markers don't quite look correct either, and 'swiss made' is very messy.

IMO, a redial.

This is one of the worst Constellations we’ve seen in a while.
Very obvious redial - so back to school on dial recognition.
(If I was Turler I think I would sue)

The lugs are so heavily polished that they almost have no definition of a dogleg case. (They are so bad they make it look like a fake case)

Oh gosh OK thanks all and sorry for the time waste

No time wasted at all. Better to ask and be sure!

Keep hunting for the right example and keep building your knowledge on how to spot a redial. Although I still get caught out sometimes. Some members on here have an astonishing eye for detail.

The case is worse than the redial and that’s saying something.

And to add to the above comments, the TURLER should have an umlaut (two dots) above the U.
