Looks good, but the case back seal looks old and somewhat compressed, so a reseal would be a good idea.

Yeah the earlier versions of SMP used to have them but then they decided to replace them the sword style hands. The Mercedes hands look better imo and is a nice unexpected move for an Omega so I like it a lot!

Forgive my pickiness, but the Pre-Bond is not normally referred to as an ‘SMP’, despite what is written on the dial, that name is universally reserved for the 300m rated watch that came after, ie the Bond watch and it’s many versions. To the question were Merc hands seen on an SMP variant, I would answer no they weren’t!

Okay interesting. I've seen people use the term for both variants so just aping here haha. And yes, I was aware that Mercedes hands were not part of the SMP you are referring to. Love the look on the Pre-Bond tho.
