Interestingly the OP watch has the "lumed 12" dial with added "T" similar to the one being discussed in the link below.

Sorry, depends whose chart you refer to..

According to these charts you are correct. Here it’s labeled a type A but I have seen this “type” on both 63 and 64 references., one of each shown above. Perhaps when @Dash1 and @kox finish their upcoming book, we will have all the answers😀. They can also have the honor of assigning THE letters to the various TYPES

How accurate should these charts be taken? I have seen some SM300s with a serial that does not match the dates of the bezel according to these charts, ie, a 25xxx serial with a Type F insert. How far "off" would be cause for concern, would one say?

Did not win at auction.... 🙁

Now looking at this one but this bezel is 100% not genuine right. Look at the 5! Should be a type E according to serialnumber... Getting quite paranoid with these 300's...

That bezel definitely does not look legit, but I am not sure how accurate the bezel chart above is with regard to matching it to serial numbers. I wish someone would comment on that, if anyone knows....

Sorry for the confusion... I am asking a general question: how far off is acceptable in the case of the bezel chart? If the bezel chart here suggests a 27xxx or 28xxx serial for a certain bezel, but a watch with that certain bezel has a serial of, e.g., 25xxx, is that a potential issue? Or is the bezel chart quite loose and still somewhat unverified itself?
