Which companies / strap makers offer leather straps for the Speedies with quick release spring bars or at least an small hole or cut at the backside to access to spring bar easily. Often it is hard to access the spring bar if the leather is stiff and thick. That sucks ;)

Prefered are strap makers that offer customization (eg. length, stitching color) and from Europe (no customs) but all other of course are welcome too.

I am looking forward to your recommendations. Thank you. Have a nice Sunday.

Which spring bar tool do you use? I use Bergeon 6767-F and it works well even with tight and thick leather.

The same, Bergeron 6767. Maybe I am too cautious to avoid any scratches. Of course it works but I am always in worry to slip off with the tool because of the tight access to the spring bar. But with the two options it should be easy and I do not see any disadvantages.

I'm not sure if their styles work, but Christopher Ward bands are high quality and many have the quick release mechanism.

I have never tried myself but it should not be so difficult to cut out a small piece for better access by yourself. Someone on the forum may have done it.

I believe Camille Fournet and Jean Rousseau offer highly customisable straps that have the quick release option, and they're in Europe, so hopefully that fits your needs.

Molequin & Atelier Romane also offer straps with QR options, though customisation options are fewer.

I have a CF with quick release that is fine .. I bought some lesser straps with QR and almost lost two valuable watches to the sidewalk. Be cautious.

If you go on Amazon there are plenty of quick release straps . I’ve found that the Chinese ones are , shall we say ,less quality than the european one . Just a thought

I just purchased a couple of inexpensive QR straps from this place : https://strapsco.com/
Free worldwide shipping, but no customization and located in the USA.
So far so good, but my watches are worth a lot less than those from the @Larry S collection :D

@Vitezi ... those stunning Tissots deserve secure shoes.

While not the cheapest, I like Shinola’s leather straps...so much so I purchased 4 of them, all quick release.
Good quality leather, made in Detroit, nicer than all the watchgecko bands I’ve purchased, occasionally on sale for 15-20% off.

    Hi there,
Have a look to ABP Paris, atelier du bracelet parisien. They have a wonderfully online customization tool, from leather, to stitch, length etc and also a quick release option.
Already have 2 straps from them, not cheap, but really great!
