Well if you're a nit picker the SFF bezels came on late 60's Mk 1's and the early end of the Mk 2's and weren't on the gilt watches that people swap them onto these days. Kind of like putting a DNN Speedy bezel onto a pre-moon, though I guess people like the aesthetic (or decided they should classify the ones they owned as as something rare and desirable to increase it's value).

"Chuff chuff chuff" is the sound of a steam engine. When you are "chuffed" you are making the same sound. This means, you've been running or exercising. In this context, OP was running around looking for the watch and having found the watch has now stopped and is exhausted, going "chuff chuff chuff".

·Insert can completely transform the look of a watch. Some like vibrant colors, some like the aged/faded look and some focus on font size (size does matter in this case.) It really comes down to an individual's personal taste.
Amazing how many shades of blue/red or even black exist, each very unique and can be tailored to match or accentuate the patina on the dial and hands.
I buy what I like and switch as I get tired of a certain look, it's almost as satisfying as buying a new watch.
