I’ve added a couple of dial closeup’s, to show the gilt script and lumed 12.
For me this confirms that the gilt script on early SM300’s (and others) is factory and not due to age/degradation. I always leaned towards this theory but (for me anyway), I am now 100% convinced.

I too don’t see anything gilt about it but it’s the nicest SM300 I’ve seen in a long while.
