Slow boat from Hungary delivered this watch to me today. Bought it on eBay over a month ago and seller didn’t even use a delivery service that allowed for real tracking, so who knew when or what might arrive.

Here it is

Runs nicely. It was $610.

Off to the watchmaker.

Nice cushion case in sterling silver! BTW, those numerals are probably quite radio-active!
Here's it's American cousin: 1918 Elgin in a similar case.

What is that hallmark with the Crown next to a half moon and G underneath?

Sorry for the delay in replying.

These marks of the half moon and imperial crown are found on silver, or the sun and imperial crown are found on gold. They are found on Swiss and German made watches.

I like the tarnish on it.

I once removed the tarnish off my grandfather’s WWI watch and then waited a looong time for it to come back, cause once I’d removed it, I immediately regretted it. The watch looked much better tarnished, to me anyway.
