Last Friday (23rd) we had a nice GTG at the Omega boutique in Vienna.
Several selected guests have been invited (because there is only limited space available...)

Mrs. Maria Fojtl (OMEGA Brand Manager) with guests

One reason for the GTG was the presentation of my chronometer book.

It was an honour that Mr. Petros Protopapas (OMEGA Head of Brand Heritage) from the Omega museum was present (left).

A lot of interest in my book... guests leafing through it

Petros had brought a specimen of the DP30 observatory chronometer from the museum...

It was a wonderful evening at the boutique.

I want to thank Omega and Mr. Thomas Schmolek (managing director of the boutique) and his team for the perfect organisation and realisation of the event.

Mrs. Fojtl at the left and Mr. Schmolek at the right together with Petros and me.

Nice one. Congratulations on the book. I can't find any links to where to purchase it. I don't suppose the mods would mind if you were to put a wee link in somewhere, would they?

Every time events like this take place, OMEGA get back to where they should have started long ago.

Thank you for sharing this very special moment with us! 😀

Well deserved - it's a great book. Definitely helped me in understanding & finding a few chronometres.

Beeing in Australia now and loving it, there are times, when I miss Europe. Lived in Munich for over 30 years. And just hoping in the car and driving to the Omega factory , was one treat. Beeing in Vienna, one of Europe's Gems, was another. Would have joined you in a Heartbeat..... Is John Diethelm still Happy in Retirement? Kind regards. Achim

Nice to see recognition by Omega Erich, you deserve it.

By the way, is that an Ω on your lapel, I couldn't quite make it out, it looked a bit small or are my eyes failing?

😁

Erich, Even though all of us guys give you praises I hope Mrs Fojtl gave you a proper hug or maybe a kiss on the cheek?😁

You deserve to be celebrated!

Yeah, more like a brooch at 6 x 5cm... but hey, when do you have the opportunity to show off if not at an Omega GTG ? 😜

Here a detail

A lot of diamonds in there...😁
