Kizzi NASA Short Strap

I'm appealing for help here. I'm sure there was a thread recently (ish) about how to rig Kizzi short straps to achieve the look in the top picture, where the strap doesn't run across the caseback. I've searched but not found it. I've got a strap on order so I'd love to see it. It'd be great if someone could confirm that either; a) I imagined it or b) post a link or c) explain how it's done.
Many Thanks,

Does it have to be rigged?

This picture from another thread looks like you could just put he spring bar in one side and use the velcro to adjust on the other?
Or am I missing something?

You could well be right by the look of that picture. I'm sure I read a thread about how to rig it such that the strap didn't cross the caseback - it could be that what was suggested was the equivalent of the way it's now packed?

From the Kizzi website:

Wearing the astronaut way
One way of wearing the short watchband is by cinching the strap to one springbar first, and then using the second springbar to secure on the strap on wrist as shown in the image below. This way, the second spring bar acts tighter on the loop tape than if the steel loop was threaded directly, and therefore prevents the strap fully opening if the hook and loop closure were ever to accidentally peel apart. Also, the springbars are just as secure as if in the traditional two-piece strap and buckle arrangement.

You can reassuringly feel how secure this arrangement is every time you take off the watch.

Either that, or they were rigging the long one to fit like the short? Just a thought.

Yes, that could be, makes more sense that way.

That looks good, I think it's what I was looking for. The only other thing is, how do the keepers go on?
