Keeper Diver, Seamaster 300M vs Tudor Pelagos vs Breitling Superocean

Hi Everyone,

I would like your opinion! I love the looks and everything a diver watch represents. I am involved with water sports in general and I am looking for an everyday use Diver luxury watch. I would like to point out that the watch will be a keeper and will not buying it as an investment (but wouldn't mind being able to keep it's value over the years).

I've narrowed it down to those 3 choices:
1. Omega Seamaster 300M - 210.30.42.20.01.001
2. Tudor Pelagos - 25600TB
3. Breitling Superocean 44 - A17367D81C1A1

Which one you think is the best choice? thank you

Don't buy on someones recommendation, buy the watch you like, buy the one that fits and looks good on the wrist.

I wouldn't get hung up on brands just buy what will fill the role you want it to play and what fits in with your lifestyle.

At the moment my heart is telling me Superocean! I know that probably the Tudor is the best "tool" watch of the three and the Seamaster the best in terms of manufacturing and versatility.

Dive, fish, swim daily in the tropics.
Had dive watches since the 80s had nearly all brands from Rolex to Seiko

Buy a dive watch if your a diver or want a real dive watch. It might not be a brand you know of when you start looking at dive watches instead of luxury watches.

I settled on the best watch I have ever had and the brand surprised me.

If you included photos and more data about what is informing your choice, we might be able to give better feedback. I'm not sure that everyone wants to start googling those models to duplicate the research you've already done.

Tough choices you're facing! I was in a similar boat, choosing between an Omega Seamaster and Breitling Superocean. I ended up going with an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M. It was way too beautiful to pass up lol. I used this reference guide when deciding that I'm sure you'll find useful as well: https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-blog/comparisons/breitling-superocean-vs-omega-seamaster.html

"Breitling Vs. Omega
Traditionally, Omega has been seen as a level above Breitling in the luxury watch hierarchy, although at least some of it could be attributed to marketing. While the latter company has produced a number of breakthroughs and culturally significant pieces through the years, it is Omega which is usually the ‘other’ brand non-watch enthusiasts will have heard of (the first obviously being Rolex). "

Super interesting and very informative!

You are in a biased forum, so don't be surprised if the answer is Omega. I've tried on the Pelagos and own the Seamaster. It took me trying them on multiple times to determine which one I liked and sung to me. Try them on multiple times and each time the answer will become clearer.
