I will need some help on this...

I own Tudor Pelagos for 3 months.
It is last series, for what this matters. If the watch becomes collectible in years to come, then this will be most probably THE series to own.

However this is just a speculation.

When I bought this, I had other watches in mind as well but given the fact that I wanted a brand new watch and this was about to be discontinued, I chose it among the others.
Of course it ticked all of my boxes.

I am thinking of flipping it with a Panerai 000 Base Logo.

I cannot afford to keep the Pelagos and purchase the Panerai.

What is your opinion on this?
Should I keep the Pelagos or flip it?

I'm not the biggest Panerai fan so I say stick with the Tudor. Just my opinion though, YMMV

    Thanks for the reply.

My favorite watch is the 3570.50 Moonwatch which stays on my wrist almost for the 3/4 of a year.
Tudor is my "summer watch" basically.

Panerai will be the same more or less in case I decide to flip.

The deeper question is: What is it about the Tudor that leave you feeling unsatisfied with it. If you can answer that you will know whether you should keep it, or move it on.

Then the question becomes: Does the Panerai tick that box, or will I just be doing this again next year.

    I get your point.

My love for watches is not about collecting them.
It is about owning them, wearing them for a period of time and then move on.
Some cheap divers that I enjoy when I am doing scuba or other sport activities are out of this discussion.

I have owned a handful of very nice watches over the few years that I have this hobby.
Only one watch will stay with me forever and this is a gift from my parents.
In this "journey" the Moonwatch is the watch that I really like and enjoy wearing it, so for now this one stays too.

    Nothing is wrong with Tudor.
At some point I will move on.

I have not owned any Panerai yet, so I do not know how it will fit to my watch needs.

If you have other classic looking divers then the Panerai is the choice for me. More Original within your collection.

The Tudor is a great watch though.

All makes sense. Sounds like the Tudor is on the way out. I cant see how you can go wrong with either. Have fun

My vote is for the base Panerai. I Love the look, and you have so many strap options. Each one can easily change the look of that watch.

    both are lovely watches.
it is up to me now to decide.

I have found a nice example of Panerai 112, preowned.
This is a nice watch too.

    thanks everyone for their posts.
