Sorry mate, these memes were created by people who don't understand/ never watched football. Of course there are players who simulating injuries, but that's not what football is about. Google Martin Skrtel or Jaap Stam injuries(just to name a few).

Well, if you judge the sport by one particular player...I don't know what to say mate. He just a clown, talanted one.

One player "mate"???

Could just as easily mentioned Robben, Ronaldo, Suarez, Drogba .... "(just to name a few)"

If you really want to find someone who "doesn't understand/never watched football" then maybe look in the mirror

This is a sport littered with corruption, Financial fair play irregularities, tax avoidance and habitual racism "(just to name a few)" and then played by overpaid cheats.
But then there is none so blind as those who will not see

Just a friendly reminder: this thread was created to discuss Juventus come back ( btw Ronaldo was one of the players who made it possible), not the tread to talk down about the football as a sport. As some people say: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. You are more than welcome to open football haters thread and put all the negativity there. You just named players who made to the top, if they were as bad, as you trying to show - they would never be where they are right now.

On the positive note when I watch my 4 years old daughter practicing and playing with kids I don't see any corruption, racism and overpaid cheats. A lot of people enjoying it same way as I did while playing for years.

Your thread I guess so i'll leave you to it although very little is actually discussing Juve as you intended from what I can see. By the way my original meme was meant as a joke and most people with a sense of humour would have realised that. Clearly I need to signpost this better in future for those sensitive souls who lack a funny bone 😀
I don't actually dislike Wendyball that much actually but it was you who took exception and raised the issue not me. I merely answered your claims.
See you later 😝

Rugby is for posh alcoholics who went to third tier universities or spent three months looking after milk trucks with the Guards in Helmand.

Anyway, Ronaldo showed why Juventus bought him. Messi cannot be criticised, but Ronaldo's ability to sway a match is peerless.

A bit of humour now that’s more like it 🤪
As opposed to all those intelligent, academic football types I guess

Everyone's entitled to their opinion on who the greatest footballer of any given generation might be, but "assists" is scraping the barrel. Also you are wrong about Cruyff, he did indeed win a medal with his national team, but it has Runner Up 1974 stamped on it.
The dutch dont see second as a medal... and messi was also second... but indeed, everyone is entitled to have his own opinion about the greatest player of this time... 😁

Who was it who said, “it’s like being in a foreign country!” when asked about his move to to Italy?

No doubt some professor emeritus of letters!

Wracking my brains. Was it Trevor Francis or Ian Rush? Could have been either

For me, the bigger result was PSG vs Man U. As far as I know in the CL, no-one has ever overturned a 2-0 loss from the first leg when away from home. Made a lot of sense to buy Cristiano, though. Great result for Juventus and a cracking game.

We all have our favourite players and for me, no-one mentioned above is the all time best.

Cheers, Chris

It was the good comeback also.
Last year Barcelona came back from 0:4, they won 6:1 at Camp Nou against PSG)
It wasn't away from home though)
