I did a quick research and they all appear in the above 3k range. where did you buy yours?


These are crazy prices for not particularly nice watches.
The gold cap one has an unattractive dial and is polished.
The SS one has a cracked bezel and pitted case.
And you missed the third one from this seller, with an equally crazy price, which has a poor redial.

Those are insane prices. I would advice these sellers mental help. At the other hand, $ 1000 is IMO way to low for these. We're talking about rare connies which Desmond did a article about. And we all know... bigger nowadays is better (read: more expensive). By the way, this is not my personal view. So I leave it up to the market to decide. For me as a collector it's not important now because I'm not planning to sell. Who knows how long it takes to find another one in this condition.

Anyway, thnx guys for the compliments and enjoy the hunt!

A real case of caveat emptor here. From my notes on the last one, about a third of the 14777 examples I have seen are redials.
