It's with sadness that I let this one go..

Purchased from a very well respected forum member and good friend several years ago.

re: pictures. I'm having difficulty with my DSLR, so color balance is off on a bunch of the pics which look too "yellow". The natural light pics are much more indicative of the colors (case, dial, etc.) on this watch.

Dial: A stunning and homogenous "parchment" patina. Pink gold markers in good shape. Hour and minute hands excellent. Seconds hand looks as if it were plated and looks like a combo of gold and ss. I can only see this under loupe.

Dial flaw: Cardinal marker at 3:00 appears to have been glued to dial. Difficult if not impossible to visualize with naked eye, easy to see under magnification. It really jumps out in the pics--as do most flaws.. the marker is well positioned in the vertical plane, and perhaps a hairs breadth closer to the case (in the horizontal plane) than it's partner at 9:00.

Movement: Simply lovely 30L. Don't know when it was last serviced so please have this done if you plan on wearing it regularly.

Case: 18K Pink gold. 34 mm but wears larger due to thin bezel and long lugs. Looks like it's seen a sympathetic polish. Chamfers and lug edges and tips are well preserved.

Case back: Too cool.

Crown: original

Buckle: Added at a later date. I think it's date appropriate for this mid 50's piece. It's also pink gold, and may be solid gold, but I am not sure of this.

Strap: Custom made black sueded alligator.

Please don't hesitate to ask for more pics.

just reduced to $3000

I take pp (friends or you pay fee) and bank transfer.

Fedex/Parcelpro shipping to lower 48 is on me. Overseas/International will split with buyer.

Thanks for the space, OF.

This is an über rare example. The Flagship Chronometres were low production to begin with, but in gold? And pink gold, no less? I have been following these models for many years, and do not recall ever have seen another.

Oh, and I can attest to the dial being more attractive in person!

Great seller, as well.

GLWTS!

Now $3000

Folks, this one is seriously beautiful and the dial flaw is unnoticeable to the naked eye..the pics really exaggerate it.
