·Won this at an auction and it is in better condition than i was expecting. Its an Apollo XI 20th anniversary, first speedy pro for me and i love it. I have a 60th anniversary speedy, but already prefer this one.

·I have a Speedmaster 345.0808 which I suspect is almost the same watch as yours. Mine is one of 4,000, and not numbered with a limited edition number. I acquired mine in 1990. One significant difference with mine has the clear sapphire back. It has the gold plated calibre 863 movement.

Thanks! I think that I got a pretty good deal on it, so i cant complain. More than happy with it, wears way more comfortable than i thought it would. Running a little fast so im sure a service is in order.

I was working for the second largest Omega dealer in Canada in 1990. They asked me NOT to wear Rolex watches at work! I had several Omegas at that time, but they offered me such a deal on the Omega of my choice, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to buy the Speedmaster! Such a deal! If I recall correctly, the MSRP on that watch was $2,995.00 (Cdn.) at that time. Modesty dictates I can’t tell you what I paid!
