hi everyone.... going thru my parts bins.... looking for my original 2915 hands... as i asked a watchmakler in the 90s to put on a hour and min hand from the "replica" as I like the idea of the hands glowing in the dark ! augh...... still have not found them yet... but will keep looking... thought you would like to see some of the junk i came across... Then I came across a set of Omega Arrow hands ! but they are gold tone ? augh no luck.... anyone have an idea what they are suppose to be for? Will dig thru another box next week...... Whats the chance of this Seamaster SOB dial A) being for a cal.491 and B) you be willing to sell it if it is? Please, please, please...
Sorry a 491 is an automatic movement.... the Seamaster is for caliber 267 manual wind sub seconds....sorry.. bill
Bill’s junk is a bit more interesting than most. I am going through his trash cans later.* *not an actual threat, I think we live on different continents.
i have a lot of Rolex Junk...... and Omega as well..... Heuer Military...... Tudor junk..... keep looking. if you come across and early Omega cal. 30 center second dial of around 34 mm diameter, which must be 100% flat/no bevelled edges, let me know. Optimus is looking and has not come up with anything so far.... keep in mind, that i still have one pair of original Omega black frame hands for the white dial Railmaster prototype..... something to barter with.... kind regards. achim
Really cool parts find and beautiful watch! What reference is this and would those broad arrow hands fit on any cal 267?
