Thought I would share - finished both of these today. Both came up rather nice, and I would be happy to wear either of them...

Now onto yet another 321 based Speedy....

Cheers, Al

How many 321s do you think have passed over your desk since you started?

Hi Al! Two classics indeed!

That's a nice Sub. Can you post more information? A 5513 circa 1969 - 1975? Can you offer any additional info, or some photos of key movement service disassembly / reassembly steps you took? Of course, this is an Omega Forum, but I think this would be educational as most of us here have probably become familiar with Speedy parts and service steps. . .so the Rolex might be a nice analog to give us a comparison and contrast!

That also looks like an early, HIGHLY transitional 145.022.

cheers!

Oh man, what great marker color on the no-date Sub!

They are even a bit "creamier" in real life....

I don't keep track, but as of yesterday my answer was "too many" as the next one I started on is in very rough shape...

The Sub is a 5513 and dates to 1969. It was in great shape inside and out. If I get time to post some photos I will.

The Speedy is a 145.012 - 67 SP....It was also is pretty good shape.

Cheers, Al

I was fooled by the chrono hand end shape! But it's my fault for not looking more closely at the fading of the tritium. This is clearly -67 tritium, vs. -68/-69 transitional.

cheers!

Sheesh! More nuance! I can't believe how much there is to know about the Speedy family!

That's why I love this place!
