Just collected my Zenith El Primero Flyback

I am hoping that someone in the OF community more knowledgeable than me may be able to share any thoughts or comments on this watch and the price being asked.

I have come across this 40mm Zenith El Primero Flyback auto watch with B&P for sale locally for US$2700 negotiable - recently serviced by a known local watchmaker. I am interested in adding a Zenith El Primero to my collection and this is within my budget.
I think I have read that this model 02.0470.405/25 is from around the early 2000's does that seem correct?

thank you chris

One of my favorites. All 3 of the color variants are great. I'm partial to the Banana and the "Rainbow Rainbow" but this is a good deal on a fantastic chrono. The bracelets are awesome too.

Go for it ... if not, send me the info of the seller, hahaha.

Love the color rainbow version, but this one is really great. And think what would be a reasonable price for probably the best chronograph movement, Flyback function, steel bracelet ... i can鈥檛 imagine more for that value!!

Great watch at a great price. If the service was legit, that is the icing on the cake.

The watchmaker meeting today is with the guy who serviced this watch (he has also serviced a Tudor of mine) I spoke with him yesterday to ask if he could spare a few minutes to check it out for me.

I have bought the watch and I鈥檓 very happy with it, the watch tested at -1sec/day and 281 amplitude.
Thanks to all who contributed for the reassurance and encouragement

Complete set + extra strap + recent service at that price, it's definitely worth it!

Very good buy for a Rainbow Flyback with recent service history. Great watches, I have the coloured version and it has become my daily wearer. Bracelet is super comfortable and watch is a great size and weight. Enjoy.
