·Hi OF Zenith collectors,
It has been a while since I wanted to present myself here, so here it goes.
I am Giannis, I started collecting vintage watches about 3 years ago and my collection is mainly Zenith. It all started when I was looking for a present for my wife, that she could later pass on to my new born son.
I was actually looking for a modern watch but when I stumbled upon LouS great article (thanks LouS!) on the early El Primeros and I was hooked.
The journey started with my first vintage Zenith (a chocolate G381) that was available at a local dealer in Munich at that time and it soon became an obsession. I started reading about vintage Zenith (the best information was available in this forum!) and contacting collectors for help before buying further pieces.
Spending most of my time in reading and hunting down watches to buy, I apologize that I failed to contribute anything to the community. One of my resolutions for 2018 is to change that and give back to the community at least a bit of what I got from OF the last 3 years.
Big thanks to all fellow collectors that I bothered in private conversations with my silly questions all these years: you are such a great helpful bunch, guys! I appreciate it!
Ok, enough said, I know you like pictures as much as I do, so here are some pics of my collection. Pics are old, but I promise to present the watches with adequate pics during 2018.
Have a great WE,
Giannis
