I've always admired the Omega Speedmaster watches. However, they were always a bit too large for my wrist. Recently I discovered the Speedmaster Day-Date at 39mm. It was love at first sight ;-)
I just purchased one (with papers) that was originally registered in 2014 (3523.80) with the blue dial. It's in really good condition.

Can anyone tell me what these were originally selling for new? I've done some searching but can't seem to find it (even at internetarchive.org).

@valkyrie_rider is going to love your choice. I have a slightly later triple date, bought new in 2008. List price was 3500 USD, but I got it for 3000

Congratulations on your first Omega! My 3523.30 says hello!

As for the original price, I believe the price (from the year 2000) on the hang tag says $2,400.00.
