Hello all!

Took possession of my 43.5mm Planet Ocean 8900 and I’m in love (been staring at it all day). Love the weight and proportions of the watch and with my gorilla wrist, I did not need to remove any links on the bracelet…I put it on straight out the box and it fit.

I stressed over picking the dial color as I was torn between Black and Blue. Blue was my first favorite but as I got close to ordering I started to see some amazing pics of this watch in Black. Though conflicted, I went with the Blue and am super excited with this darker/duller shade of Blue that can appear Blackish in certain lighting (and a more vibrant blue in other lighting). I was concerned the Blue might be too loud/bright in neutral lighting and that over time I would not like it. But that is not the case. Tried to color match the blue and the closest I could come Space Cadet Blue (see pic).

I’ll wear it on bracelet 90% of the time but I still want a nice strap for a change of pace. Does anyone know the reference number for the 21mm OEM Blue leather Alligator strap?

Thanks for looking and reading, now it’s time for me to get back to my watch honeymoon.

The cordura straps are super comfy, the new snoopy comes on one that should fit the PO. It’s 21/16 I think and needs the fold over (deployment/deployment) clasp.
Also the BSOTM strap comes in 21/18, You have quite a bit of options at 21mm,
The ones for the planet ocean will be curved and fit close to the case while the speed master or AT versions will be more straight across and will have a space between the strap and watch which I think are more comfortable. I have a cordura strap from a different model on my planet ocean and I like to look and fit.

I'm biased because blue is my favourite colour. I think Omega have several beautiful blue watches in their range and your PO looks great.

what is the bezel made of in this model? does it glow with lume?
The bezel is made of ceramic. Only this one below has a lumed bezel insert in the current stainless steel lineup.
