Someone's put up this 1943 38mm OmegaPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network on ebay.

It is said to have the model number of 2319 (although the pictures are too blurred to be certain), with a 30T2 movement. I found this confusing cos if you check the OVD the closest match is a MI2319 with a 30T1 movement with a dial that looks quite different.

I tried googling using 'jumbo' and '30T2' as keywords and found a wide range of different dials. One of Mike's prior posts also mentioned the serial # should be in the 9m range (and this is a 10m number), and Lou's 2319 looks rather different too.

So is this a re-dial, and a frankenwatch to boot? ::confused2:: I suspect it is, but as I'm still learning, would love to calibrate my assessments to the experts. Thanks!

    I can't help with the watch, but that's a late 60's / early 70's style buckle (if it's real).

This watch is likely to be legit, but this ref. has a diameter of 37,5mm and not 38mm as described - sloppy measurement...
    Dial seems original and unrestored.

Crown is most probably a replacement.

    Price seems too high IMO

    Hope this helps a little

Thanks Dennis & Mac_omega for your thoughts! Will wait for a better-priced one then.

Yes, and wait for larger ones (39mm)
