路路Steve @ 惟FNot sure what the smallest size would be but my skinny wrist is 6.75". I ended up removing about 3/4" of the mesh to shorten my bracelet because I didn't like the clasp butting up against the end link at the 6 o'clock position. How else would I get the calendars to fit.馃憤

路I think they are about $1000 USD or cheaper if bought preowned. From memory what i've seen maybe $600 USD. I have a JB Champion Bracelet I bought for $295 from Squinky on eBay. Not the original ones worn by the astronauts as pictured in other posts but I think its darn nice. Good luck with it. I've only look ed on ebay but I reckon they're great!

路Just curious, for those who have a JB Champion on an asymmetric speedy (i.e. 20mm lugs) does the extra 1mm of clearance on the end piece get annoying or not noticeable?
It would seem Neil Armstrong didn't care, but just wondering on others opinions 馃榾
I prefer the flat end links on 20mm lug refs and horned as the best look on 19mm Speedys. The extra 1mm is not as noticeable with the straight ELs, but the horned make it really clear.

I was the lucky bidder to win it. I actually received a discount because when he started the auction, I offered him $799 to end it early. Glad he didn't accept that offer. I also tried to win the straight end link but it got a little to rich for my blood.

Couple of points in reply.
0. Almost impossible to find one in mint condition, as that would be NOS in case and never opened I guess - close enough will be good enough馃槜
1. The one on feeBay is a straight end piece and like the horn end is period correct -
2. What size is your wrist? There is limited shortening (Don't think of trying to shorten it yourself by pulling out "links" - can be done, but you will need someone who knows what they are doing and has done it before, successfully!) ) - I believe these come in two sizes long & short pieces.
3. I am pretty sure there there is no-one who reproduces these. Would you want one if they did? Each of mine (and no doubt @omegaman, @gemini4 and others) have come from long, hard searches and buying some rubbish in between.
4. The one you are looking at seems a little more than I would like to pay for straight end pieces, but they may have moved up since I last bought one 8 months ago. I would expect to pay more for horned ends.
5. You need to see clearer pics of the underside of the end pieces to determine if there is some discolouration which might indicate something going on or might be just reflection. Also would be a good ida to check that the stamping on the end pieces are correct.
Not sure of all the variations but mine have USA Patent.Pend. 3.030 686 stamped on the underside of the end piece
No expert by a long shot so just my 5 cents worth. Good luck with it. 馃憤
