Just curious, for those who have a JB Champion on an asymmetric speedy (i.e. 20mm lugs) does the extra 1mm of clearance on the end piece get annoying or not noticeable?

It would seem Neil Armstrong didn't care, but just wondering on others opinions 馃榾

The gap was noticed and commented on by a mate on another forum when I posted these.

I haven't really worn it like this myself.
Holding out for my Ed White before wearing the JB Champion more often.

This sums it up.

I'll see your copy of Walt's book and raise you a signed 45th Apollo 7 anniversary patch.

Good spotting! 馃憤 Not many would recognise that book.
I've bought a few things from Walt and had some signed. I've got the signed 'standard' Apollo 7 patch but haven't got around to getting the 45th Anniversary one yet as I completely missed the original release. I will have to get onto that as it looks really good.
You've also reminded me that I still need to get a Fisher space pen too.
Sometimes you overlook the things that are easily available until it's too late 馃檨

Still think I'm holding the winning hand with the "space flown" Apollo 7 Robbins medallion / tie pin conversion, originally given to Deke Slayton, in my above picture 馃槈

The band is not only cool but I find it quite wearable. I wear this watch about 1/3 of the time.

Very nice Apollo 7 piece. I fold. All I have is this shuttle flown pencil. Still keeping with the JB theme of course.

Drop me a PM with your address and I'll send you a little something. 馃槈

Nothing too exciting, and probably a bit rusty 馃檨
but it is..........
Still keeping with the JB theme of course.

Quick question. Does anyone know what's the smallest wrist size that these bracelets can accommodate?

Not sure what the smallest size would be but my skinny wrist is 6.75". I ended up removing about 3/4" of the mesh to shorten my bracelet because I didn't like the clasp butting up against the end link at the 6 o'clock position. How else would I get the calendars to fit.馃憤

Thanks, that's what I thought... I've got a pretty small wrist too and I figure some of the bracelet needs to get the chop in order to fit it right.

Except for the 2nd from the right which is a Gemex ( a earlier version), these are the NASA style JB Champion Bracelet. The are easy to use and very comfortable to,wear.
