Jaeger Panel Watch/clock Question

Found this in my fathers stuff. I do not know much about it. It looks like a panel watch from a airplane or something?

size is 65mm across glas

Is Jaeger Jaeger le culture?

What year?
value?
is it mounted on the stone or sold like this?

it is wind by turning the glas, and time is set by a small knob ar number 7

I would say it's from an aircraft due to the rotatable bezel with a large marker and that it couldn't be mounted flush to a dashboard as shown in @gatorcpa's advert because access to that lever at 7 would be blocked and the mounting holes would be some distance from the board. Also that sweep second hand, car clocks don't need one but aircraft do. Very early car clocks & instruments did stand proud of the dashboard, but I think the practice was pretty much over by the time of WW1.


I'm sure you know this already but for completeness that lume is most probably radium, so opening the dial/movement should only be done by someone with the right equipment to deal with it.

thank you, very cool that it is a pre WW2 item. I think it belonged to someone living in italy that knew my granmother...

I do not know much of radium to be honest, but it is only dangerous to open it not to use it or have it? Do you think the hands should be open like that or if the lume has fallen off?

Looks like it, not lume, all the printing is the same shade. So, would the hands have been filled or skeleton?
