    Hey all,

Recently caught the bug of MK XI Military watches and saw one up for sale. Was wondering what are your thoughts? The case looks rather sharp to my (untrained) eye and look well worn (which is expected given its illustrious past) and the movement looks to be a cal. 89. Thanks for your help!

I am the furthest away from being a vintage IWC expert but all I can say is that that is a cool watch. I personally would love to own a mark 11 one day.

Not sure if you bought the watch but there are other examples available and at auctions. Good hunting!

My primary interest is in Omega WWWs —good examples and fakes.

In searches I occasionally come across IWCs “Xs” and XIs which bring higher but not extremely high prices.

The “watch noted above” appears almost 3000 pounds above the upper estimated auction price for a similar watch coming to a popular Auction on March 27.

That Auction is felt by some to be on the high end for prices.

    Suggesting due diligence...

IWC have always made quality watches and if you can find a good one it should never really lose value
