IWC Mark XI 1952

Very nice RAF pilot/navigator mark XI. Serviced in 2009 by IWC, before my ownership. Card and wallet included.

Calibre 89 movement.

The tritium dial is a service dial replaced after 1963 during its time with the RAF or at the IWC service in 2009.
I've hardly worn it during my ownership.
The pictures are from my i-phone and I have no tools to remove the back for shots of the movement or case back.
If you are serious about buying I will try to get some.
I am moving between West Sussex and Dorset in the UK until 19th July when I will be in Switzerland/Italy for a few weeks before returning to the UK.
I prefer a face to face deal but will post at buyers cost.
I want £4500 obo plus postage.

Maybe vibe, I have seen others like this and not many completely original dial/hand combinations.
I've not looked for a set of originals myself but a set could be got I suppose.
Of course if you want to wear it when driving your e-type across Europe at midnight, being able to see what time it is can be a good thing.

Is it a big turnoff for you ?

Interesting point. Maybe if I'd worn it more it could have become a distraction, but so far I still enjoy it too much as it is.
