Dear OF After some intensive thinking and especially after this beauty made me some headaches (which are now over) I decided to offer it here in the forum to see if someone is looking for this reference: IWC 866A (no date) aka Jumbo Ingenieur Cal 854 original crown original bracelet fully serviced (see details below) I think it doesn't need too much detail here as everybody interested in this reference knows what it is. I attach as many pictures as possible to allow you to make your own opinion. If you need more info, I am happy to chat with fellow members Details to the specific watch: I own it since more than 2yrs now (see https://omegaforums.net/threads/another-incoming-lately-iwc-ingenieur-866a.108684/ ) it got also discussed there. The only thing to mention are the hands - they seem to be service, however not luminova as they glow not long enough in my opinion. Maybe also a reason why I part with the watch is, because it always made me some headaches: first, the crown was an original 666 (too small) which I changed to a 866, the first one had a bad gasket and I had to look for a second 866 crown. Then my watchmaker (a good friend of mine) found out, that the tube was altered for the 666 which meant changing it back to fit the 866 crown, of course the winding stem needed to be changed as well. When everything was done (which as you could imaging took some time to find the spares) the watch stopped and went back to my friend. Now all is perfectly fine, but I somehow got used to not having it - and thought it may be for someone else. If someone in here is looking for this reference I would be happy to part with it. If not I am also fine and put it in the safe. I am pretty sure that I will not get the chance to find another no date version. This reference is hard to price: I am asking EUR 7.700,-- including box net to me. The watch and I are located in Vienna/Austria - F2F deal would be absolutely preferred. But I also ship within Continental Europe and internationally after discussion. I usually use DHL - be aware: insurance for watches are limited at EUR 5.000,--
Bump for the weekend Seems to be less interested then the lately sold Big Crown... References available
Easter Bump Price drop to 7.500,-- Trades welcome Please ask whatever comes to your mind, I am happy to chat and fully transparent - my references are important for me in this community.
Surprised that this is still here..the non-date 866 is a relatively uncommon beast, and this one appears to have gorgeous patination.
Bump I guess I don't need to mention, but realized that not included in the description: It's a "Jumbo" with 37mm which was for me the main advantage to the 666 in addition to the fact that it's a no-date.
Sorry, very late reply to a very tempting offer There are really some nice pieces in your offer, but you know how it is: project incoming... Desperately looking for liquidity That's why: bump fir the weekend
Back on the market. Maybe this time This is definitely a piece I regret when it's gone, but I'll give it another try.
