Deserved so as working & surviving in the cold and dark LM "Aquarius" was a historic feat!
Interesting to note, NASA astronauts' feedback after Apollo 13, May 1970 (as in December 1966) requested a more legible Speedmaster, which finally came in the form of a "60 seconds" bezel, one year later for the prime & backup crews of the Apollo 15 mission, the first J-mission.

.
However, as always, NASA had already reserved the 3 Speedmaster chronographs which would fly on the Apollo 15 mission ( S/N 42, 45 and 47) and thus Tachym猫tre versions.
Finally in 1972, the Alaska Project II Speedmaster came a clear & legible "60 seconds" bezel.

.
Fast forward and the "60 seconds" bezel was again abandoned for the "radial dial" Alaska Project III but real Speedmaster aficionados came out with their own "60 seconds":

Long story short, 30 years ago, the "60 seconds" bezel got its place on the digital/analog Speedmaster X-33 chronograph prototype and remainded there since for all versions!
