It's here (SMP 75th Anniversary)

Just picked it up at the Fashion Valley OB in San Diego.

I like it more than I thought I would. It wears very well and the dial is quite interesting. Although it's matte, at certain angles the sunburst effect makes it look glossy.

The only thing I can criticize at the moment is how the bracelet folds at a sharp angle from the end link. Still, I'm very happy with my acquisition. Not a big deal, but it's the first to be handed to a customer here in San Diego.

SA told me they got word they're going to produce them for a very short period of time and when they're gone, most people who didn't pre-order will be SOL

Here's a few pictures of the watch and its presentation. The last wrist shot was an attempted lume shot but my phone kept correcting the brightness - that's why it looks so odd.

Looks great! I was hoping for a bit more depth, that the ceramic would be deep like the black and blue models, but this still looks wonderful in the light.

@Jemagloh check this out

I can't believe how much the omega photos don't do these justice. Granted I haven't seen them in the flesh myself but the videos I've seen by people in the AD show there's a lot of depth to these dials - all across the range. Your photos also show this.

Congratulations and it looks awesome! Now that you finally have it, how do you feel with regards to your decision over the PO?

Thank you.

I never got a chance to see the 75th Anniversary PO in person but comparing the photos and videos of it to traditional PO, I'm glad I didn't get it.

To me, the PO's details exude the class and formality that the SM300 should command but nevertheless it's a classic, ageless look and dressing it in denim garb really knocks it down a few notches so I much prefer its original duds.

BTW, I opted for a PO LMLE instead

Is that an OEM strap?

Yes. I had it changed at the OB. Apparently they had to use different spring bars to make it fit

Very nice! Omega has not indicated this will be a limited edition/limited production run. Interesting comment the SA made about no pre-order=SOL. Hope it’s not true because I’m still on the fence until I see one in person.

Very nice! I am still waiting for mine. Placed an order with one of the Vegas boutiques during the announcement. Let's see how much longer.

These are showing up on the US West Coast, so hopefully not much longer.

Certain models are starting to trickle in. My SA told me that the OB in La Jolla, CA is the only one that has the Ploprof on display.

I was able to try on this guy a couple weeks ago at KoP outside of Philly. Color really pops in person

Not to hijack this thread, but sandwich dial looks very nice in this color!
