Looks great. If one of these on the cordura popped up at a good price, i don't think i could resist.

This is a gorgeous watch.

I鈥檓 really tempted to add to the collection as I hv a thing for blued hands and markers. I鈥檓 just concerned with thickness. I hv the 41.5 AT from the same era as this watch and note that both the 38.5 and 41.5 models share the 8500 movement so hv the same thickness.....

Hv you owned a 41.5mm AT and are you able to share any insights if you鈥檝e had a chance to compare?

Thanks
Jeelan

Thanks Jeelan! Yes I owned at the same time the first edition of the 41.5 MM Aqua Terra Golf and the 38.5 MM Skyfall. As you said they share the same movement so thickness is the same. I basically replaced the 41.5 MM AT Golf with the 38.5 MM Skyfall as felt the Golf was too big for my taste on my wrist:

My 7 1/8 inch wrists are pretty round and felt the smaller 38.5 MM was a better fit. I ended up selling the Skyfall to pursue other watches but knew the 38.5 MM AT was the right size for me. The 8500 movement makes the AT a little thicker than what would be ideal in my mind but the titanium lightness makes up for that 馃榾

Yeah its a shame they couldnt make the watch a little slimmer, Skyfall could have been a perfect watch for me, but i also sold it as i think the thickness was not so nice in proportion to the size. Also the lume on hour hand was pretty useless at night, i could hardly read time.

Thanks for that. Yeah that lightness is what really appeals.

I鈥檝e been wearing a current model Datejust 41 on jubilee bracelet lately and can鈥檛 believe the difference in weight between the AT and the DJ41 - every single gram of difference sits in the bracelet as the heads are identical in weight. Haven鈥檛 wanted to take the DJ41 off so looking for lightweight options in the AT range inc smaller size..

The Good Planet AT might just be the answer.

Great looking watch, personally speaking I'm a bracelet guy but that cordura does suit it beautifully.

I weighted the watch today: On bracelet (full band minus 2 half links) is 94 grams; weighing them separately the head weight is 50 grams and the band is 44 grams.

This is a very nice strap. I went on the Jean Rousseau website and the only cordura straps were NATO straps. Did you have to custom order that blue strap?

that's pretty cool!! My AT in 41.5 (pre 2017 model) weighs in at 152g as i wear it. Head is 70g with balance being bracelet.....so the AT GP in Ti is over 50% lighter than this......

The DJ41 on jubilee bracelet by comparison is 131g

sorry for lack of pics - just cant access them at the moment..

I'm more and more tempted to pick up this watch at some point!!

I contacted JR and placed the order over e-mail as knew of other people which had ordered the black Snoopy (which they do for Omega under reference CWZ003436) as well as other colors of the Cordura (for example, black cordura with orange stitches for the Speedmaster Ultraman). They made for the Planet Ocean a band very similar to mine (Omega reference is CWZ005345) but it has more bulge at the lugs than mine, which follows the same profile of the Snoopy band. Below you will find a picture of the CWZ005345 (left) besides the Snoopy (CWZ003436) so you can see the difference:

Someone asked me the weight of the watch on the Cordura / Ti deployant. Weight is 68 grams so the band and deployant just add 18 grams to the head weight of 50 grams
